Color Fastness of OEKO-Dyed Modal Fabrics

Light-colored modal fabrics are widely used in intimate apparel, but their color fastness is a major concern for brands.

Our OEKO-certified modal fabrics have achieved excellent color fastness performance for light colors through a "low-temperature fixing" dyeing process. The dyeing temperature is controlled at 70-80℃, and a eco-friendly fixing agent is used to enhance the binding force between the dye and the fiber. Laboratory tests show that the washing color fastness of light-colored modal fabrics (such as white, pink, and light blue) reaches grade 4-5, and the wet rubbing color fastness reaches grade 4, which effectively avoids the problem of color fading and staining of underwear. We have done a "simulated wearing test" with light-colored modal underwear: after wearing it for 7 days and washing it 3 times, there is no obvious color fading, and it does not stain other clothes. This performance provides a safe guarantee for brands to develop light-colored intimate apparel series.
